I'm typically opposed to those overly sentimental, cheesy Christian songs whose sole purpose seems to make you cry, but this one hits really close to home so we love it.

So I Dance With Cinderella

******
So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew.
I dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
and she'll be gone.

I know what you mean by resisting cheesy Christian songs. Anytime that the thought "This would be awesome at a baby funeral" runs through my mind, I turn the station. I did, however, go through a "Butterfly Kisses" stage at 16. I also thought the 90210 where Brenda confronts her attacker in the Peach Pitt was the single most amazing hour of television I had ever witnessed so all is forgiven for that year of my life. :) This song does pull me though. I guess knowing that he lost his daughter right after this came out is what had me crying in Ultra Foods, hiding behind a box of cereal when "Cinderella" came on over the loud speaker. So sad. I like that Dave indulges Ella with dancing though. He is such a good daddy!
With Love,
Kris
