Wild Things

Last night when I was putting Ella to bed, I asked her what she wanted to do tomorrow. She answered, "Go picnic at park." So, today we woke up to another beautiful breezy day and decided to do just that. I got the girls dressed in their matching zebra-stripe outfits from Auntie Karen and we headed out to the cool park in the next town over. Ella got a kick out of sitting on the blankie to nibble cheese, crackers and grapes while Delia grinned at all the trees and sunshine. Besides snacks, we also enjoyed swings, climbing, seeing lots of trains, a "bucket truck," a police man (who waved at us!) and lots of noisy geese honking. The everyday things in life are totally enhanced when you see them through the eyes of a two-year-old!

Jen,

I'm sure wishing we still lived in Escalon. Nathan and I would have enjoyed joining in on your park outing! I'm glad you had a good time.

Love,
Teri

Sounds like the perfect Friday afternoon! We wish we lived a little closer to so we could join you. The weather here in Fresno is perfect today as well - that hint of fall we all needed.

We love the "Wild Things" outfits as well. We're cooking up our own "wild things" Halloween costumes. Let us know if you see an tiger striped shirts.

Ciao,
