Happy Birthday Aidan!

April and May are birthday months in our family-- get ready for lots of Birthday Blogs! Tomorrow is our nephew, Aidan's, birthday. I write the announcement tonight because tomorrow we leave to head South. We are going to visit our friends Phil and Teri and spend a night with them. Then on Saturday, we are going to see my college roommate, Dorina, and attend her 30th birthday bash.

Aidan (son of Chis and Karen) is our silliest, most energetic, most mischievous and fun nephew. Ella just loves him because he is very affectionate and entertaining to her. Tomorrow he turns the big 0-3. My favorite thing about Aidan is how easy it is to get a big smile out of him. This was the case since he was a tiny baby and I'm happy he doesn't seem to be outgrowing his zest for life and constant joy. While some of these descriptions of him are kind ways of masking the fact that he is a bit of a handful :), there is nothing about this charming little guy we would change. His adventures make great stories!

So, happy birthday, Aidan! We hope you have a great day and know how much we love you!

Hi Dave & Jen. Dad and I were just talking about Aidan on our drive home from bible study tonight. We were both saying how he has always been so happy, and how he is always smiling. I also was commenting how he has already learned to use his charm. He looks at you with his beautiful blue eyes, and his cute little smile - and you just have to love him!
Have a great time with your friends. It's nice that you can get away for a while. We'll look forward to pictures of your visits.
Love, Mom and Dad

A message from Aidan:

"Dank U! IZ MY BIRFDAY! I THREE!"

Seriously, though, he was very excited to see pictures of himself with Ella on your blog! Thanks for posting them! The funny thing is that Theoren is wearing the blue polo shirt that Aidan has on in the last picture and so Aidan refused to believe that one was of him! He kept saying "No! That's BABY and Ella!" Anyway, I guess that he is quite used to seeing himself in just a diaper and so easily recognized that one!

Thanks for remembering our little miracle boy... I can't believe it was three years ago when he was born and look at how he has amazed us all!
