Cowgirl

While picking up some routine necessities, Ella found these pink boots at Target last night. She was so excited to try them on and wear them (she kept saying, "Ella's boots!" and "I try boots" and "Happy boots!"), they had to scan her foot and cut the tag off at the register! So, good thing we live in the rural community where we do-- wearing pink cowboy boots to church is no big deal!
And if it isn't obvious already, here is what you do when you are finally persuaded to take your new pink cowgirl boots off: take off your skirt also, put your socks on your hands as gloves and vacuum.

Jen, this is yet another way that Ella is like her father. There was a year in his life where he wore cowboy boots everywhere he went. He wore them with pants, shorts, pajamas - whatever he had on! She would have fit in great in our church this morning. The VBS theme was Avalanche Ranch, and all of the kids wore bandanas. She looks so cute! MOM

Yee Haw! What is rural California done to you, Ella! You look adorable as a cowgirl. The real question is: can you sing country songs into your karaoke mike?
