Busy Every Day

When I first viewed the week's itinerary, I was honestly overwhelmed. Bonfires, family concerts, s'mores nights, carnivals, Train Day, Beach Day, a pool, row boats, hiking opportunities, a ropes course, a rock-climbing wall and whole fieldhouse full of games...the options to keep us busy were endless. All this on top of twice daily day camp for the kids while I attended seminars and worship. We sure had days jam-packed with activities and friends! We did alright, though, at finding a balance between taking advantage of all the fun that was appropriate for us (no ropes course or climbing wall and no activities going past 9:00ish) and still enjoying a bit of down time in our cabin each day and night.
Enjoying s'mores with Allie and Nathan.

Singing silly songs around the campfire with Mikaela.

Cooling off in the pool.

A row boat ride with Daddy (he was able to leave his camp for a few hours to come visit us one day.)

The end of the week program. Ella's class sang "Our God is so Big" (here she is showing how He is so STRONG and so mighty!)

This is pretty awesome that you ladies got to participate in all these activities and be close to Daddy while he was working too. Just some of the perks of being PKs....;)
