We Love a Parade!

Yep, we are die-hard when it comes to the Almond Blossom Festival. It's been such a highlight of our season the past 5 years, we didn't even consider not going-- even when a cold, windy, overcast day greeted us this morning. While the day was not nearly as beautiful as last year, it was still a fun parade featuring fire trucks, harvest equipment, old cars, about a hundred horses and even a princess in a convertible from our church! Ella's favorite, though? The truck that cleaned up the horses' poop. We chose the warmth of our car over the traditional wander around the Community Center and carnival, but still stopped to pick up some tri-tip sandwiches in support of our Christian school.

Hi,
We're really missing you guys and Ripon this weekend! Sorry the weather wasn't better for the parade. We're having loads of fun with friends in Chicago this weekend, so it isn't all bad. Take care,
Gail

I love that eating tri tip sandwiches supports the Christian school! What?! :)
We're starting to turn a new leaf here too-I can finally get a feeling that Spring is on the way and it just can't come soon enough!
Glad you had fun at the festival despite the Chicago like day.
Love,
(Auntie) Kris

Ok, anything for aaaa-monds. You guys are definitely becoming Californians with traditions like these. Love Delia's expression in the stroller. Classic!
